Chili

I got this chili recipe from my mother in law, she uses elk but you can use any hamburger. It's my favorite chili recipe!

2-3 lbs ground elk ( you can use beef if you don't have or don't like elk)
2 cans chopped tomatoes
2 cans kidney beans
2 cans great northern beans
1 can pinto beans
1 can black beans
1 med onion diced
1 pkg. chili seasoning (I also add extra chili powder for heat)

*Cook hamburger and onions together until brown. Add everything else, let simmer on low for up to 3 hours. I've ate mine after like 30 min. though, it tastes just as good!*I cooked all 3 lbs hamburger, but only used about 2 and zip locked the rest for tacos! I guess it just depends on how chunky, or meaty you like it!
